Axis & Allies is a war game for 2 to 5 players simulating World War Two on a grand scale. The players take the role of the various countries involved and try to lead their nation to victory.
There have been a number of variants (Pacific, Europe, D-Day) of the original game released, with changes in the rules, map, and number of players. Additionally, there have been several computer software implementations.
