Connect Four (also known as Plot Four, or The Captain's Mistress) is a strategy game for two players.
Each player takes turns dropping colored discs into a 7X6 vertical grid. The objective of the game being to form a line (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) of four discs of your color, before your opponent does.
The name Connect Four has been a registered trademark of Milton Bradley since 1974.
