Brain Challenges   >   Sudoku

Sudoku is a popular puzzle game that originated in Japan, but which you will now find in many newspapers all over the world.

In Sudoku, there is a 9X9 grid of cells, which is subdivided into 3X3 boxes of cells. Each cell is initially filled with a number (1 to 9 inclusive), or starts out blank. The idea of the puzzle is to fill-in the blank cells, using a process of logical deduction, so that each row, each column, and each 3X3 box, contains the numbers 1 to 9.

Sudoku is an easily to learn, but challenging, logic puzzle. If you get bored with standard Sudoku, there are many Sudoku variations to play.
